A truly circular economy reduces the consumption of natural resources, energy use, waste and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Copper plays a key role in the transition to a clean and circular economy. This Transition will drive demand, which is expected to doubly by 2050, and will need to be met through both primary production and recycling.
